How Our Pricing Works
Around Town — on the Meter
City trips run on a metered rate set by the City of Grande Prairie: a flag drop when you get in, then a rate per kilometre. Traffic and waiting time affect the total, which is why the website shows a range rather than one figure.
Airport and Out of Town — Flat Rate
Longer runs are quoted as a fixed price before you travel. You know the number when you book, and it does not move because of traffic or a detour we chose.
Waiting and Extra Stops
A few minutes at the door is normal and free. Longer waits and additional stops are charged — tell dispatch when you book so we can quote it properly.
Prices Shown Are in Canadian Dollars

How Much Does a Taxi Cost in Grande Prairie?
A trip inside the city runs on the meter, so the fare depends on the distance and the traffic rather than a fixed price list. The quote box above gives you a real range for your own route before you book anything — that is a live price from dispatch, not an average.
Anything out of town is different. Runs to Clairmont, Sexsmith, Beaverlodge, Valleyview, Edmonton and everywhere else outside Grande Prairie are quoted as one flat figure before you travel, and that figure is what you pay. Nothing is added at the end for traffic.
